This is not another Fad Diet-crash-course-in-weight-loss-self-help website.

Knowledge is Power.

It is no secret that diet and exercise are important to fitness – but of equal import is WHO you are.

Leading research supports that Personality plays a role in lifestyle.

Once you understand why you do what you do, you are on your way to calling a spade a spade and reversing some of those lifestyles habits that are keeping you in that grey area just shy of where you would like to be.

The Fit4Life Brand is all about working directly with members to help identify barriers to physical and mental well-being and close the gap between where you are today where you would like to be.  There is a reason you are where you are today, and why you have not been successful in achieving your wellness goals. If you can’t identify and surmount those reasons, you will cyclically struggle over and over.

So what is your goal?

Is it to lose 20 lbs?

Is it learn to cook more healthy foods?

Is it to get over anxiety about eating foods that are orange-colored?

Are you convinced it is too time consuming and pricey to ‘be healthy’?

Do you have a condition that necessitates a special diet and need some help figuring out safe meals that you enjoy?

Are you looking for some toning moves for those love handles?

Are you struggling with insomnia or chronic pain and don’t want to go the pharmaceutical route?

These are just a few of the many, many possibilities that could bring you to Miss Fit’s [literal or virtual] doorstep.

It’s simple to get started:

  1. Send a quick email of interest to write.with.ms@gmail.com.
  2. Take the Fit4Life Survey that generates in your response email.
  3. Answer the questions.
  4. Submit the assessment by saving responses to an attachment and emailing back.
  5. Schedule a consult [in person, over the phone, or through Skype ] with Miss Fit to discuss results and determine if you are a good candidate for joining Fit4Life.

Too bad you are so far away. My son’s psychotic OCD, or schizo-OCD as per his diagnosis, has become so bad lately that we are looking for (affordable!!) treatments, without him having to take more medication. Next week he has a few appointments at our local mental health care center. Hope something will come out of it. Best, Heila

Ms Heila, I am so sorry your son is struggling. I have Skype and phone capabilities and would be happy to work something out , even if it is just processing on the phone. I can do a sliding scale hourly rate for phone/Skype so please do not hesitate to reach out. I would be happy even to assist in searching for local places with you . I have worked at several kinds of CMHC [community mental health centers] over the years and would be happy to help you debrief experiences so assist in finding a good fit.

      Let me know :0)

Thanks so much for the offer Miss Fit. My son saw his new CMHC psychiatrist today. He went there in real bad shape and for the first time they scheduled the next meeting in “only” two weeks (normally, he has to wait about six weeks between appointments). But besides the good conversation he had with the doc, he wasn’t offered any treatment. So we will have to exert some more pressure… If I’ll feel totally lost I’ll call you. Thanks again.
        Best, Heila
